CVPHC
represents show, performance, recreation and pleasure horses; breeders; trainers; novice, youth and amateur competitors; and recreation riders.
The Club's leadership are a group of dedicated volunteers who donate their time and energy to organize APHA sanctioned horse
shows, open / all breed horse shows, and recreational trail rides.
Saturday, April 10, 2010 CVPHC Spring Trail Ride Staunton River State Park in
Scottsburg Option to overnight/primitive camp Friday and
Saturday night. Judged Trail Demonstration/Talk Saturday morning by member Pat
Allard. Several trail obstacles will be set up for riders to try out as they ride trails if they desire.

2010 Shows Scheduled for Herndon
and Lexington Spring into Summer Color
Show...join us as we return to the "new and improved" Frying Pan Park Equine Facility, June 5-6, 2010. Our
Fall Color Classic Futurity and Paint-O-Rama is scheduled for October 8-10, 2010 at the Virginia Horse Center in Lexington.

Announcing a NEW incentive program for 2010. CVPHC's Virginia Bred Program
(VBP) will make it's debut this year! The Virginia Horse Industry Board (VHIB) has graciously provided $3,000 in grant funds to CVPHC to manage a program that will recognize quality horse breeding
in the Commonwealth.
All
grant money will be distributed to winning exhibitors who participate in our VBP. More information is available on the

Membership Info
Membership
is open and available to all who share our passion for the American Paint Horse. There are no residency or horse ownership
requirements. The success of our club depends on membership support and participation. We need your thoughts,
feedback, and involvement. Consider becoming a member today. Membership rates are reasonable and all fees are used
to support the club and coordinate shows, trail rides, year end award programs, and administration. Visit our membership page for additional information.
We value our members and will offer accessibility and
encouragement to achieve shared goals and objectives. To be aware of the needs, challenges, and opportunities of this
club and give assistance and direction to help it grow. To make a positive impact on the equine industry in Virginia
through sound financial policies and careful long rang planning.

Take advantage of a new opportunity to earn points, recognition and awards by competing
at local all-breed shows by participating in our NEW Open Show Program. The purpose of the Open Show Awards Program
is to recognize CVPHC members who compete in local open and 4-H horse shows with a registered American Paint Horse.
