Our hope is that this site will provide helpful information and encourage you to visit often. Please tell your friends and family about our club!

CVPHC represents show, performance, recreation and pleasure horses; breeders; trainers; novice, youth and amateur competitors; and recreation riders. The Club's leadership are a group of dedicated volunteers who donate their time and energy to organize APHA sanctioned horse shows, open / all breed horse shows, and recreational trail rides.

Please consider joining us as we celebrate the accomplishments of CVPHC members for their performance in APHA shows, Open Show Program, and Ride Virginia Program.

A Southern buffet will be served at 2:30 pm and our awards program will immediately follow. Price is $20 per adult / Children 12-under $10. Banquet reservations must be pre-paid by February 20th.

Annual membership meeting and elections were held Saturday December 10th in Goochland, VA

Vice President - 1 year term - Bob MacDonald

Secretary - 1 year term - Randi Clougher

Treasurer - 3 year term - Kay Lumpkin

Director - 2 positions, 1 year term - Debbie MacDonald and Kerry Aleshire

Congratulations to all of our new officers and directors! Sincere thanks to all past officers and directors for their tireless energy and dedication to CVPHC and our members! Lots of very exciting events for 2012 to be announced soon.

Membership is open and available to all who share our passion for the American Paint Horse. There are no residency or horse ownership requirements. The success of our club depends on membership support and participation. We need your thoughts, feedback, and involvement. Consider becoming a member today. Membership rates are reasonable and all fees are used to support the club and coordinate shows, trail rides, year end award programs, and administration. Open Show Program

Over 20 horse show associations from Virginia, North Carolina, West Virginia and Pennsylvania have been approved for CVPHC's Open Show Program. Take advantage of a new opportunity to earn points, recognition and awards by competing at local all-breed shows by participating in our NEW Open Show Program. The purpose of the Open Show Awards Program is to recognize CVPHC members who compete in local open and 4-H horse shows with a registered American Paint Horse. More information can be found here.
